Mr. Yap: start looking then

Joy: Sir, i do not have time

Mr. Yap: Make Time

Joy: How?

Mr. Yap: Come and Join us i will let you throw Mandarin in the river.

It’s the day (or night) where young single women gather to throw mandarin oranges (or tangerines) into the sea/rive/lake in hope for their future husbands to pick up.In Chinese tradition we call it Chap Go Mei. Why dont you try?

                                                                        Mr. Mandarin

I have always been quite negligent of traditional Chinese festivals, but as my boss reminded me it was Chap Go Mei. But hey, it’s Chap Go Mei. It’s only once a year and I’m sure I can afford a little risk every now and then. Why spoilt the festive mood anyway? :D
I decided to head out to Mall of Asia together with my officemates after dinner to throw some of my own oranges. All the better, cause I have my oranges ready.
So I made 5 i taught Mr. MVP,Mr. Oldman, The Cap, My ex-boss but i was wrong.2  years after I threw the oranges in, I got a sms from an anonymous.
Guess what?
Someone got my orange!! o.O O
I couldn’t believe it but this thing actually works!
Dear Facebook and Bloggers  readers, meet my Chap Go Mei  Mandarin and now my husband Mr. Rickie Soliman a.k.a. MANDARIN for me.

I thank the Lord for our lives and healthy marriage

Being favored and blessed doesn't exempt one from the hardship and pain. For the 1 year that Ric and I have

been together,we've  face many challenging circumstances. The struggles of a long-distance relationship, the
paper

work, the expenses, unemployment, being secretive to my husband, settling a new home, unexpected

pregnancy, preparation of giving birth  and the adventures did not stop and I'm sure there will be plenty more

to come. It hasn't been an easy journey but we made it this far. Being favored and blessed doesn't mean the

absence of problems or the abundance in material things. I'ts not the presence of people you love on the

comfort of a place you once called home. It is knowing we have GOD and hes got our back and everything

else covered. He who made possible for Ric and I to meet and to be together will also be the one who will

carry us through.
