Am I ready for the baby (many who throw sympathetic glances or smiles my direction have no idea I have baby in the making) to join the world ASAP?
How do I answer such a question?
Well, yesterday marked 7 months; so the baby should survive, with some added care, should they exit the womb now..He/She should be fine.
I am experiencing a number of pregnancy related physical discomforts. Sciatic nerve pain, between my butt and upper left leg, has been visiting for several days now, causing me to sometimes limp. Add the limp to my pregnancy waddle, and we have an interesting little dance. Need we discuss frequent visits from acid reflux, difficulties in finding a lying position that doesn't cause problems, or struggles to catch my breath?
Sounds like I'm about ready, huh?
Speaking of which, I really need help on how to nurse by baby.
To make a long story short, I look forward to seeing what the baby look like outside the womb, but I am in no hurry to expedite their exits out of the womb.

Food Cravings in Pregnancy
Mandarin- This is my folic acid intake, in addition, of course, I'm taking through my prenatal vitamins daily.
Surprisingly, I'm not craving any pastas, chocolates, or bread. Very unusual for me to eat loads upon loads of rice and my favorite ulam tocino.
But, all that has changed for now when i was in KL. My body is telling me or perhaps the baby in utero are telling me that salads are yummy delicious, peanuts, cashew nuts, mat-cha (chinese drinks, steam boat or shabu-shabu,durian and i can eat 2-3 kilos of logan fruit a day. hehehe

MPLANTATION BLEEDING:
Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.
Other Explanations: Actual menstruation, altered menstruation, changes in birth control pill, infection, or abrasion from intercourse.
DELAY/DIFFERENCE IN MENSTRUATION:
A delayed or missed period is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period.
Other Explanations: Excessive weight gain/loss, fatigue, hormonal problems, tension, stress, ceasing to take the birth control pill, illness or breastfeeding.
SWOLLEN/TENDER BREASTS:
Swollen or tender breasts is a pregnancy symptom which may begin as early as 1-2 weeks after conception. Women may notice changes in their breasts; they may be tender to the touch, sore, or swollen.
Other Explanations: Hormonal imbalance, birth control pills, impending menstruation (PMS) can also cause your breasts to be swollen or tender.
FATIGUE/TIREDNESS:
Feeling fatigued or more tired is a pregnancy symptom which can also start as early as the first week after conception.
Other Explanations: Stress, exhaustion, depression, common cold or flu, or other illnesses can also leave you feeling tired or fatigued.
NAUSEA/MORNING SICKNESS:
This well known pregnancy symptom will often show up between 2-8 weeks after conception. Some women are fortunate to not deal with morning sickness at all, while others will feel nauseous throughout most of their pregnancy.
Other Explanations: Food poisoning, stress, change in hormonal birth control method or other stomach disorders can also cause you to feel queasy.
BACKACHES:
Lower backaches may be a symptom that occurs early in pregnancy; however, it is common to experience a dull backache throughout pregnancy.
Other Explanations: Impending menstruation, stress, other back problems, and physical or mental strains.
HEADACHES:
The sudden rise of hormones in your body can cause you to have headaches early in pregnancy.
Other Explanations: Dehydration, caffeine withdrawal, impending menstruation, eye strain, or other ailments can be the source of frequent or chronic headaches.
FREQUENT URINATION:
Around 6-8 weeks after conception, you may find yourself making a few extra trips to the bathroom.
Other Explanations: Urinary tract infection, diabetes, increasing liquid intake, or taking excessive diuretics.
DARKENING OF AREOLAS:
If you are pregnant, the skin around your nipples may get darker.
Other Explanations: Hormonal imbalance unrelated to pregnancy or may be a leftover effect from a previous pregnancy.
FOOD CRAVINGS OR FOOD AVERSIONS:
While you may not have a strong desire to eat pickles and ice cream, many women will feel cravings for certain foods when they are pregnant. This can last throughout your entire pregnancy. Some women develop adversions to certain types of food early in pregnancy and this too can last for the next 9 months.
Other Explanations: Poor diet, lack of a certain nutrient, stress, depression, illness or impending menstruation.
When putting on weight is a must
My Friends Testimony:
With concern and care, I was told that I need to put on more weight in this pregnancy. On the prospective curve of ideal weight gain, I am not even close to what I ought to be gaining.
Mommy Ana Balingit
I was told the same thing by someone at my midwifery group not that long ago. When she asked what was going on in my life and whether I was stressed, I broke down crying. Pools of tears and some of my deepest painful feelings came flowing out of me in floods and like word vomit.

It’s the day (or night) where young single women gather to throw mandarin oranges (or tangerines) into the sea/rive/lake in hope for their future husbands to pick up.In Chinese tradition we call it Chap Go Mei. Why dont you try?
Mr. Mandarin
I have always been quite negligent of traditional Chinese festivals, but as my boss reminded me it was Chap Go Mei. But hey, it’s Chap Go Mei. It’s only once a year and I’m sure I can afford a little risk every now and then. Why spoilt the festive mood anyway? :D
I decided to head out to Mall of Asia together with my officemates after dinner to throw some of my own oranges. All the better, cause I have my oranges ready.
So I made 5 i taught Mr. MVP,Mr. Oldman, The Cap, My ex-boss but i was wrong.2 years after I threw the oranges in, I got a sms from an anonymous.
Guess what?
Someone got my orange!! o.O O
I couldn’t believe it but this thing actually works!
Dear Facebook and Bloggers readers, meet my Chap Go Mei Mandarin and now my husband Mr. Rickie Soliman a.k.a. MANDARIN for me.

I thank the Lord for our lives and healthy marriage
Being favored and blessed doesn't exempt one from the hardship and pain. For the 1 year that Ric and I have
been together,we've face many challenging circumstances. The struggles of a long-distance relationship, thepaper
work, the expenses, unemployment, being secretive to my husband, settling a new home, unexpected
pregnancy, preparation of giving birth and the adventures did not stop and I'm sure there will be plenty more
to come. It hasn't been an easy journey but we made it this far. Being favored and blessed doesn't mean the
absence of problems or the abundance in material things. I'ts not the presence of people you love on the
comfort of a place you once called home. It is knowing we have GOD and hes got our back and everything
else covered. He who made possible for Ric and I to meet and to be together will also be the one who will
carry us through.
