Day 10: Is the Golden Rule Your Rule, Too?

Philippians 2:3

Don’t be selfish….Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself.

     Is the Golden Rule your rule, or is it just another Bible verse that goes in one ear and out the other. Jesus made himself perfectly clear. He instructed you to treat other people in the same way that you want to be treated. But sometimes, especially when you’re feeling pressure from friends, or when you’re tired or upset, obeying the Golden Rule can seem like an impossible task-but it’s not. So be kind to everybody and obey God’s rule, the Golden Rule, that is.

A Timely Tip

You must more than talk about it. In order to be a good person, you must do good things. So get busy! The best time to do a good deed is as soon as you can do it!

A Bed Time Prayer

Dear Lord, the Golden Rule is your rule. And I’ll try hard to make it my rule, too. Amen
